The question that occurs to me is what has been attached. Is it a schedule or a report?

    Re: Which one is correct?

    Hi Zoe

"The schedule / report has been updated and attached for your reference"

Either, depending on the content of the report/schedule.

If it's a tabular listing of orders and delivery dates, for example, it could be called a schedule.
An MS Project planning document would also be a schedule.

If it is a free text report, under diferent headings, it could be called a report.

    Hope this helps
