    Re: Which one is correct?

    Hi Fromatto,

Why is patient, but not patience? Thanks

One cannot be patient without the 'being'. I am patient, but not 'I patient'. Thus, 'please be patient' is the best form.

Patience, is a noun and so in your example would not fit. You could say: please have patience, but the vernacular is 'please be patient'.
