    Lightbulb My Boo

Hello everybody, I want to ask what does "My boo" means. It is name of one song from Usher, who sings it with Alicia Keys. I think, that is love song, but the name is weird for me. In dictionary I found that "boo" is therm of abuse. Thanks for your answers.

    Re: My Boo

It could be a term of endearment, like sweetie and honey.

    Re: My Boo

From the same site Urban Dictionary: boo

boo is a term that is derived from the French word "beau" meaning beautiful. In 18th century England it meant an admirer, usually male. It made it's way into Afro-Caribean language perhaps through the French colonisation of some Caribean islands. Now meaning girlfriend or boyfriend.

Ex: "This is what I'm saying boo, it's all about you."

    Re: My Boo

In my experience, "boo" in reference to a boyfriend is usually mainly used by urban/"ghetto" teenagers and younger adults.
