Cool Grow apart Vs Drift apart?

    Hello amigos!

I fell out with my friend and we grew/drifted apart since then.

Which one must I apply to this sample?

Re: Grow apart Vs Drift apart?

Either could be used. "Grew apart" rather implies that you and/or the other person matured and changed in character, whereas "drifted apart" implies that you just stopped having anything in common and gradually stopped seeing one another.
