    shall/should

    Hi,

Is it a mistake if I say
    Should I open the window?
    instead of
    Shall I open the window?

    Thank you,
    T.

    Re: shall/should

When you use 'shall' offering to do something, you are more certain that your offer will be accepted.

SHOULD is used in requests and suggestions. Should' suggests a certain degree of reluctance, hesitancy or deference.
