Let's start with the most general one first: Drain. This is simply the opening that liquids down. Your sink has a drain, your bathtub has a drain, and even your 30-gallon cooler probably has a drain to let you drain out the melted ice water.

Sewage is what comes out of your toilet. This is sometimes called "blackwater." Raw sewage is human poo. In most homes, the water from your sink and shower joins what flows out of the toilet. (Sink and shower water is sometimes called "gray water" and in some places, they are piped seperately from the toilet output.)

The sewage flows through sewer pipes on the way to the sewage treatment facility.
