    how to say it?

    "I fell forced/compelled/obliged to tell you a thing."

    please, what's the best option? how would a native say it informally, please?

    Context of use will indicate which is best.

    I feel compelled to tell you something. >> I feel I ought to say this

    I am obliged to tell you something >> There is a moral imperative that I tell you this

    I am forced to tell you something. >> Whether I like it or not, I have to tell you this.

    More usually it will be "I have to tell you something".
