    Do we really not have this in the UE list? ... Ah, we do, but not in that sense.

    When something comes over you it's as if you were possessed - so for a moment you behave uncharacteristically. The person in your quote is apologizing for something that he claims was uncharacteristic; (if I were the woman he made a clumsy pass at I wouldn't believe it )
