    I doubt that is what you really mean.
    I think the word you intend is 'egotist'.


    The two words, egoist and egotist are frequently confused, as though interchangeable, but there are distinctions. Egotism/egotist, the more commonly used terms, denote an excessive sense of self-importance, too-frequent use of the word 'I,' and general arrogance and boastfulness.

    An egoist is the sort of person who might devote considerable attention to introspection...but would be modest about it.
    (An egotist would have an exaggerated sense of the importance of his or her self-analysis, and would have to tell everyone.)
