    will and would

    WILL and WOULD

I find it sometimes difficult which one I should choose?

would for wishes and activity you used to do in the past

    examples of would:
1- I would play soccer on friday
2- I would buy a sport car if i was rich.

I would be grateful if someone could give me the other examples of would.

1- I would play soccer on friday ("would" here is a modal not a past tense of "will", indicating a tentative and unsure attitude)
2- I would buy a sport car if i was rich.("would" here is a 2nd conditional, an unreal imaginery wish for the present: In fact, I am not rich, so I can't buy a sports car, a wishful thinking only.)

I would be grateful if someone could give me the other examples of would.
    (Not a teacher)
I would go to swim in the river when I was young. (a past habit)
I would like to ask you a favour. (a polite request)
