    the meaning of the sentence

    Hi, there!

Can you see the sentence below?I found it in an English test.

"No child ever misses out on leaning a languagein in order to communicate."

Does it make sense? It sounds logically wrong to me. I think it makes sense if it's "No child ever misses out on leaning a language to communicate".Or am I missing something important?

Re: the meaning of the sentence

In order to is often reduced to "to":

"No child ever misses out on learning a language [in order] to communicate."

    non-teacher.

No child ever misses out on learning a language in order to communicate.

The sentence sound strange to me..like it's not complete.
