    Paragragh on Politicis

    It would be difficult to gauge the affect of policies the government implemented to contain the inflation, instantly. The international crude price as of today stands at $135 per barrel. For the last four years the Government has not increased the fuel prices which spared the common man from feeling the pinch of high prices, but it had dented a large hole in the coffer of the oil companies, which are bearing the burnt till now. But now as there is no other alternative except to increase the price of the fuel and pass on the burden to the customers. But being the election year, the government will take the decision after considering all other options, although there is no possibility except, to increase the fuel price.

    not a teacher

    Is it for proof-reading?

    That's a well-written passage.

    1. Is it better to say 'inflation' rather than 'the inflation'(line 1)?

    2. burnt --> brunt
