    target rich

Could you please explain the following in bold?

    1. As it turns out, Latin America is providing China with equally target rich opportunities.

    2. In both Latin America and Africa, China is pursuing its imperialistic agenda with a Taiwanese twist. Both Africa and Latin America are playing an ever-increasingly important role in Beijing's strategy of the "diplomatic encirclement" of Taiwan.

Especially, what's the meaning of "twist" there?

    Thank you.

I think what is meant there is prime economic opportunities, but you don't provide much context for that.

Being from Korea, you should be familiar with China's attitude towards Taiwan. It is part of China's foreign policy that Taiwan should be a part of China (never mind what the Taiwanese want). If they could persuade the leaders of other countries to agree with them perhaps they could make that happen.

It doesn't mean anything by itself. Look at the whole phrase.

    You're welcome.

(No need to thank people in advance (not that I ever "got" that). We have the "Thanks" feature for that.)
