    what is the walkway situated in the apse so people could walk around the relic?

    They would walk round a Reliquary.

    Presumably an aisle. I have never encountered any other term.

    Hello RJ, welcome to Using English!

    A couple of clues:

    1. If people were walking round, they would be perambulating.

    2. A place to keep armour is an armory. A place for burning corpses is a crematory.

    In Spanish it's called Girola o Deambulatorio. The only translations I've foud for it:

    apse aisle, ambulatory.

    But I think there's a Wikipedia out there for this kind of questions.
