    HI

    what does two blocks means?

    i know it's a short distance but does it mean two buildings.

    A "block" is the definition used to describe a distance. Many city streets are in squares, and a "city block" is one row of city buildings.

    In simple terms:two apartments/buildings.Each apartment/building with many dwelling units/flats.

    Both can be correct, in the US, as susiedqq has said "a block is one row of city buildings." In the UK a block of flats/apartments is one building.
