    Re: Are these sentence correct

    Hi Susiedqq,

I have a question for the following word highlight blue :

I am upset because I had hoped to receive the report before Mr. Liu left (leaves) on June 10.

This is present tense, so that should be "leaves". Am I correct? Please advise

    Regards
    Zoe

    Hi, Zoe.

Is Mr. Liu going to leave on June 10?
Or... Did he leave on June 10?

I had hoped to receive the report before Mr. Liu left on June 10.

I hope to receive the report before Mr. Liu leaves on June 10.

I am upset because I won't receive the report until after Mr. Liu leaves.

Zoe, I am not sure what you want to express here:

    1. I am mad because I was impatient to receive the report before Mr. Liu leave on June 10.

    2. Sorry for my typo, as the June is just starting and please send me the report before July 10.

    1. I am upset because Mr. Liu is going to leave on Jun 10, and I haven't received the report yet.

    2. I'm sorry for my mistake. Since June has just started, please send me the report before July 10.

Are these what you're trying to say?
