    Actually...I don't think it is not wrong, just that I thought everyone/everybody sounds better.

    Is everything I heard of you is true?
    It is like saying 'is everything is true?'

    [QUOTE=muktha;306074]hiiii

    [SIZE=2]please correct these sentences

    Many of these sentences are informal rather than formal. You would say them to a close friend, but you would not use them in a business setting or letter.

    1.I didn't mean to hurt you.I'm sorry if u got feeled up for what i said.
    I didn't mean to hurt you. I'm sorry if what I said made you angry.
    To be "fed up" means that a person has become angry with you so many times that she is thinking about giving up the friendship. Getting angry once and being fed up with something or someone are very different.

    2. She prefer to pursue in the same company.
    She prefers to pursue (to pursue WHAT? getting hired, a certain job in a company?)

    3. Mr.X and Mr.Y, both are of same age.
    Mr. X and Mr. Y are the same age.

    4. I waited for her for a long time.But she didn't show up.
    I waited for her for a long time, but she didn't show up.

    5. Its almost two hours since I'm waiting for her.
    I have been waiting for her almost two hours.

    6. Is everything I heard of you is true?
    Is everything I heard about you true?

    7.Can we hang out today?
    Can we hang out today?

    8. I'm sorry for what I did.I feel so small in front of your eyes.
    I'm sorry for what I did. I am embarrassed. I am worried than you think less of me now.

    "Feeling small in your eyes" is not heard so often in this culture, I believe. The words do express a true feeling, but "I am embarrassed" or "I'm worried that you think less of me now" would be heard here more often. At least this has been my experience.

    9. I appreciate the work done by all.
    I appreciate the work done by all.
    I appreciate the work everyone did.

    I hope this helps.
