what´s the difference between anyone and anybody? how about someone and somebody.. when will I use them? in terms of singular and plural..
The way I see it, before reading that link, is that the two pairs are very similar but that the '-body' versions can be more specific.
'Get me someone to check the tickets at the door - anyone will do'
'The concert starts in 15 minutes, and you've still got nobody to check the tickets? Get somebody fast - anybody.'
