    Re: the sport of kings

It's not exactlythe sport of kings- and if Kate Middleton's expression was anything to go by it's hardly suitable for a future princess either.
Prince William's girlfriend looked positively squeamish as the couple attended the Boodles Boxing Ball to watch their close friend James 'The Badger' Meade fight in an amateur charity bout.
    Hi!

    Q1:
    the sport of kings= boxing?

Q2: If yes, why is "boxing" nicknamed that? Did any British English enjoy boxing very much?

    Thanks in advance!

One thing I notice...the Brits are love gossips about members of the royal family no matter how trivial. Attention is now focused on Prince William who is going out with Kate Middleton. He is the heir to the throne after Prince Charles.

    Hello Tedtmc,

I was reading news in Daily Mail, which is a UK-based tabloid. It is interesting to learn Britions' opinions about all aspects of their lives.

    Have a nice day.
