    load, surface

    Hello Everyone,

This part is taken from BSH glass requirements of shock resistance. There is a sentence I hope you can help me with?

Impact test for two-part glass panes
    Test conditions
The split glass support panels must be attached to the rig as they are installed in the
    refrigerator.
Both support panels are loaded over their whole surface with 1 kg weights of 80 mm diameter.
    ...

Does the sentence mean that "both panels are placed horizontally on some objects. and on them there put a 1kg weights of 80mm diameter maybe a round object?

    Regards

    Sky
