help me to understand the sentences

This time around it is like focusing on the individual self, the projects and getting that music back out. No beef.
At times I looked at it as I just want to get into the studio

Re: help me to understand the sentences

I think this is what he/she is trying to say...

This time around it is like focusing on the individual self, the projects and getting that music back out.

This time (or maybe this album) the musician (artist) is concentrating on the music. They want to make a good musical album.

No beef. Here, beef is a fight, or argument.
Example: '50 cent' is beefing with 'Murder Inc.'
Do you want beef? (Do you want to fight?)

So the artist says that this time, instead of fighting or arguing with other people in the album, he is going to concentrate on the music.

At times I looked at it as I just want to get into the studio

I'm not sure what this means... But I think the artist is saying that he wants to go into the music studio and make music and not worry about other things. (Like fighting other artists, or worrying about making money, etc.)

Well, that's my guess. Hope it helps!
