    Here are some examples, see if you can find the difference!

    I told my son to close the window.
    I told her to eat her vegetables.
    I didn't tell him a story.

    The man spoke about many things.
    Let's speak in English.
    My mouth hurts... I can't even speak.

    We talked all night.
    Let's talk about it.
    I'm sorry, I can't talk now. I'm busy...

    Can you find any differences? Let me know!
