    go wild

Please, dear teachers, could you tell me what 'go wild' exactly mean?

For example, I was watching a TV serie and I saw two physicists going wild, they were fighting each other because one of them told the another off in the middle of a symposium.

So, I am wondering what else 'go wild' can mean.

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Re: go wild

In that context it means to act wild, as in to behave like animals.
