Is it possible to write two conjuctions consecutively?
He is Dubai's ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, an international horseman of some note, not to mention one of the world's richest men. He rarely gives interviews and but he gave one to 60 Minutes, along with a tour of his sheikhdom.
Would you correct the sentence above if it is wrong?
Thanks in advance
The Use of BUT
1- When it means although or yet, we can not put (and) before it
2- when it means except, we can put ( and) before it
Are the two rules above correct? If yes, would you give example?
2- Max wants to go, and yet yesterday she said she didn't.
