    Is this polite?

    I would like remind my boss to send the data to our customer, but I am afraid that is unpolite. Would you please correct me? The sentence is below : -

    Did you send these figures / data to Paul yet? I just reminder that / I would like to remind you about that, but not sure whether that is deadline or not.

    Have you sent the figures/data to Paul yet? I am not sure of the deadline, and thought I would check with you first.

    This way you remind him, and give him the opportunity to act without making him feel you are chasing him. Yours is not impolite, but might be better reworded.
