    wished

    Hi,

"The photographer wished we stood closer than we are standing now."

Could you please tell me if I used "wished" in the past correctly?

    Thanks.

    Re: wished

You have used the tense correctly, but the sentence is not a good one.

The photographer asked us to stand closer together.

The photographer wanted us to stand closer than we were.
