    observe mass?

    Hello Everyone,

Mass means ceromony in some Christian churches to celebrate the last mean the Jesus eat. I would like to know here what the phrase "observe mass" mean?

    The context are as follows:
All normal clerical activities conducted by the clergy Please note that in Chinese, it seems to me that the form of Bingyu plus verbs never existand all normal religious activities held either at sites for religious activities or in believers' own homes in accordance with usual religious practices, such as worshipping Buddha, reciting scriptures, going to church, praying, preaching, observing Mass, baptising, monkhood initiation, fasting, celebrating religious festivals, observing extreme unction, and holding memorial ceremonies, are protected by law as the affairs of religious bodies and the clergy and may not be interfered with.

Also I would like to know what " obeserve extreme unction" mean ?

    Regards

    Sky

'observe' means attend Mass, take part in Mass. 'Extreme Unction" is the last rites that people are given just before they die
