in which case do we use end and in which case do we use finish
i am abit confused.
Posts on the forum are also not helping much.

For example,
To finish dinner - the event is over and you will eat dinner again tomorrow night.
To end dinner (to put an end to/to stop from happening again) - the event is over and you will never do it again.
To end a given marriage
To finish a given marriage![]()
