    works / has been working

Hello, IŽd like to ask You what sounds better to English ears:
Our company works in the branch of logistic services for more than 10 years.
    or
Our company has worked in the branch of logistic services for more than 10 years.

    Thanks for Your suggestions,

    Marketa.

The first sentence is incorrect. The second is fine.

You have two choices, the present perfect & present perfect continuous. These tenses show that something began in the past and continues up until now.

Our company has worked in the branch of logistic services for more than 10 years (present perfect).

Our company has been working in the branch of logistic services for more than 10 years (present perfect continuous).

    It's entirely up to you.

Re: works / has been working

Our company has worked in the branch of logistic services for more than 10 years
If it is meant as an introduction to the company, I would prefer:

Our company has been in the business of providing logistic services for more than 10 years.

Our company is specialised in providing logictical services and we have been doing it for more than 10 years.

Re: works / has been working

One thing is sure in the sentence "Our company works in the branch of logistic services for more than 10 years" the verb form "works" and the time expression "for more than ten years" don't correspond each other. "Works" imply just present time (now).
