I have fooishly spent my time as a woman . . .

Other
An assistant called Mrs. Simpson that her boss can't come to Mrs Simpson's home today. Mrs. Simpson asked why. The asssistant said, " I've wasted my womanhood asking that same question".
I am wondering what 'waste my womanhood' means here.
Thanks in advance!![]()
