    Happen/Happens

    Hi,

Is it okay to say "Anything new happen?" or should it be "Anything new happens?"?

    This is an elliptical sentence.
    (Did) anything new happen?
    (Has) anything new happened?

I believe 'Anything new happens?' is incorrect.

If anything new happens, let me know.

As clark points out, 'Anything new happen?' is actually a short way of saying, "Did anything new happen?"

Note: "I like these sort of questions", although perpetrated by some speakers, is grammatically incorrect.
