    Do you have a car?
    Does he have a car?

'Does' indicates the third person singular. 'Have' in both sentences remains unchanged.

    Do I have?
    Do you have?
    Does he/she/it have?
    Do we have?
    Do they have?
Inthis case the principle verb is "to be" the verb "to have" does not change.

    Re: read it !

Sorry, did you mean "to do"?

You make the verb "to do" match the person and tense. The main verb remains in what is called the "bare infinitive" -- that is, the "to X" form, without the "to" -- just the "X."

She swims often. Does she swim well? Yes, she does indeed swim very well.

He comes here often. Did he come her yesterday? I don't remember if he came here yesterday... oh wait, I remember - yes, he did come here yesterday!

Sorry, I made a mistake there I meant to write "principal" and I wrote "principle", not at all the same thing.
