    Talking refrigerators

Refrigerator orders were $1 million during the third quarter, down 5 percent from one year ago and off 7 percent sequentially.

(1)The word "off" is the same meaning as "down"?
(2)The word "sequentially" means "the second quarter" in this sentence?
(3)What does this sentence want to say?

    Thanks for your kind reply.

    Re: refrigerators

    1) The word "off" means the same as "down" there.
    2) I don't know what "sequentially" means there.
    3) Apparently, people are buying fewer refrigerators.

Sales are usually looked at every quarter (of the year), so in the third quarter (July, August, September) the sales were $1 million. That was down 5% from the same time one year ago (for the same quarter) and there was a decline of 7% over the total three quarters.
