    Correctly addressing a letter

Shown below is the beginning of an e-mail that is going to a general human resource e-mail box at a company. I would like it to go to Ms. Kate Blume, but I can't be sure she will actually be the one receiving it. If she does not receive it a Human Resource Generalist will. Do I have the e-mail addressed correctly? My thinking stems from junk mail that I receive and how it is addressed, i.e.:

    Re: Correctly addressing a letter

    Ms. Kate Blume
    Human Resource Manager

Do you know she is the HR Manager? If so, don't worry about it. Address it to her only. She will make sure it gets to the correct department.

If you are not sure she is the correct person to get your resume, then address the email to the HR manager or other general title.

    Re: Correctly addressing a letter

Thank you for your help. I am sure of the H R Managers name, tilte, and address information. I will do as you suggest.

    Thanks again,

    Warren
