    dyeing the hair

    Hi there,

If a woman dyes her hair and wants to say that she "uses" a certain type of colour, what verb and what is the right way to express that?
"I use black colour to dye my hair? I wear black dye?
    Could you please help me?
    Thank you

The most direct way to say this would be:
"I dye my hair black" (or whatever the color happens to be)

A little more whimsical might be something like this:
"My red hair comes from a bottle."
"My blond hair is from L'Oreal -- because I'm worth it." (mimicking L'Oreal's ads)
