    A question!

    I often find the acronym WSOH in ads where people search for partners. What does it stand for?

    White, single, own home. (the 'own home' suggesting that the person is established and solvent. It also indicates the opportunities for private evenings at home, as opposed to sharing a flat with others.)

    That's what HE meant when the African American turns up for the first 'meet' with blonde Buffy St. John, texas cheerleader.

    Actually, I think the acronym is
    gsoh : good sense of humour.

    But, Anglika, you may have more experience of the Personals than I !
