    wired up

I have a question from Prison Break. What does "wired up" mean in this context? I can not get this one.

    Thanks for your help.

Sucre meets his friend (Wholesale) when he and Michael are out in the yard.

Wholesale: What you doing with this fish, man?
    Sucre: He's my new cellie
    Wholesale: Oh.
Sucre: Wholesale's got it wired up out of commissary. Anything you want, he can get it for you.

    Re: wired up

He has "connections," or knows the "right" people that work in the commissary and get things that others can't. Of course, if you use his services (that is, you ask him to get you some cigarettes or something from the commissary) you'll then be indebted to him in some way. If he asks you to do something for him, you'll be obliged to comply.
