Has he a car? is correct, or Does he have a car?

Re: which sentence is right ?

None. The verb in the first one is "have". Why? Because it has the the "does" in front.
    • Does he have a car?
The second one, in that form is not, is not a sentence. It could be , but with a diffrente order of words, like:
    • He has a car.

A bit odd, but yes, it's perfectly good.

Not really odd, a little bit dated/outmoded perhaps, but I find it elegant.

Frequently heard and answered by Yes, he has or No, he hasn't.
