    Qiangyan

    Hello Everyone,

The Wealth has selected out the top 500 companies all over the world. 52 companies from the four golden brick countries –Brazil, Russia, China, and India go into the list, accounting for 10 percent of the total. A piece of news about that titles as The most prosperous developing coutries being qiangyan, 35 Chinese companies advancing into the top 500 . Qiangyan in Chinese mean “ attract lots of attention” “ attractive” “ prominent” Can you give me the equivalent of qiangyan here?
    Is highlight proper here?

    Regards

    Sky

You are something. The four words suits 抢眼。

I think cospicuous is best here. Glaring is not good here.

Showy and ostentatious , I feel , can describle those who are likely to show off their wealth?

By the way, I know these words in the context, but can't apply them. From your reply, I find you have mastered huge numbers of words! Can you share your experience here?
