    about using 'etc'

    Please tell me how to use such as and etc correctly. Are they all correct?

    I like swimming, reading, walking, etc., with my wife together.
    I likt swimming, reading, walking, etc, with my wife together.
    I like swimming, reading, walking etc with my wife together.
    I like many things such as swimming, reading, walking, etc with my friends together.

    In the Chinese language, 'together' comes 'after my wife', therein lies the confusion.
    Native speakers would have the same problem learning the Chinese language.
    Admittedly, it would be difficult to learn by memory which comes first. It should come naturally through the constant practice of reading in a particular language.

    Bur from the LONGMAN dictionary, I found an example of using etc (see together on page 1521):

    If people or objects are close together, packed together etc, they are placed very near to each other.

    It does not use 'etc.'

    I am a bit confused.
