    which sentence is more correct

    I was saying that "in the long run" we expect ... and someone else corrected me saying "over the long run". Is "in the Long run" wrong?

    Not exactly a case of which is "more correct", but that "in the long run" is the correct idiom.
    Whether the other person was confusing it with something like, "over the course of history"...
