    long sentences in conversation

    Hi,

How natural would the following sentence sound in a conversation ?

Was being not able to sell the product anymore the reason behind his departure?

    Thanks,

    MG.

    Re: long sentences in conversation

If you change it to "Was not being able to..." it would sound okay.

Shouldn't there be a 'his' after 'was'?

Was his not being able to sell the product anymore the reason behind his departure?
