    Lightbulb (2) China's power-(correction)

Hi! Could someone else correct the text below? Thank you!

More than a half of China's provinces have limited the usage of power after China reaches the peak of using electrity in summer while facing the shortages of coal that analyst said.

Analysts warned the shortage is grimer this year than 2004. In 2004, with the booming economics, the demand of electrity surged that caused the most worse shortage of electricity for decades.

    Should be:

More than half of China's provinces are limiting the usage of power as China reaches its peak electricity usage this summer and at the same time faces coal shortages, that analyst said.

Analysts warned the shortage is grimer this year than 2004. In 2004, with the booming economics, the demand of electrity surged that caused the most worse shortage of electricity for decades.

    Should be:

Analysts warn that the shortage is even more grim than in 2004, when the demand for electricity surged due to booming economics, causing the most severe electricity shortage in decades.

    Re: (2) China's power-(correction)

I think 'limiting the usage of power' is slightly different from 'limiting the consumption of power'.
Consumption is related to the quantity used, usage is not necessarily so.
