Question God's Work, and God's Word

    Hi,

    1. What does "God Work" mean?

    2. Does "God Word" mean the bible in general, or does it have a certain meaning?

    Thanks.

Re: God's Work, and God's Word

    I'll answer your first question.

God's work = God's acts and godlike acts, everything from creation to divine compassion. See the 4th paragraph "Everything created", here Theological Dictionary of the Old ... - Google Book Search.

Re: God's Work, and God's Word

    Thanks Soup.
So what does it mean if someone say "keep God's work up"?
Does he mean that I'm doing noble things?

Re: God's Work, and God's Word

It is more likely to be "keep up God's work" = keep on doing what is good and morally right to do.

"God's word" = what is expressed in the sacred writings of the religions concerned.
