    Smile which one is correct

    Hi, dear experts. Could you tell which of the two sentences below sounds better, if any:

    1. "Read out the text. Make a pause after each sentence, so that the trainee will be able to repeat."
    2. "Read out the text. Make a pause after each sentence for the trainee to be able to repeat."

    Snade17, I agree with Raymott's choice and correction,

    Here are two alternatives:
    Read the text aloud, making sure to pause after each sentence

    (a) so (that) the trainee repeats after you.
    (b) (in order) to give the trainee time to repeat after you.
