    hippocratic

Can you please help me to correct this sentences

They were pushed to have a hippocratic life. This hippocratic life was carved on their faces like a pattern. The concepts such as morality, religion, grace and honour lost their meaning for them.

Is there another word or idiom to use instead of hippocratic life.
Because I had to repead. But I shouldn't repeat the same words again and again.

First, by hippocratic life do you mean a high standard of ethical conduct?

For example in some countries there are strict rules... so you behave as ıf you accept them but inside you and in your private life, (secretly).. you refuse to behave or live what you were asked...

So it becames a hipocratic life...

Brend10, I have never seen the word 'hippocratic' spelled without a capital 'H' (Hippocratic). The word usually is associated with the famous Greek physician, Hippocrates.

Where have you seen the word written in lowercase?

    Cheers,
    Amigo

Brend10, are you perhaps confusing 'hippocratic' with 'hypocritical'? See the following site:

    Re: hippocratic

    Yes... yes ... yes ...
    You're certainly right.

This is the one I was looking for... hypocritical.

It would be such a big and stupid mistake... thank you very much indeed.
