    "You're not my man."

Hi there! Can you please tell me if the expression "You're not my man." can also apply to a woman. Thanks in advance!

    No!
Only women can say that, unless the man whoever is saying this is gay.
"You're not my man" is mosly likely spoken through a woman's perspective.

Thanks, I can see your point. Anyway, I want you to know the context within which I came across with this expression. Two men are talking and one of them says to the other..."If you ask me to help you with numbers I wouldn't be your man". I thought that maybe he meant " I would not be of much help to you." Could it be?

Yes. "If you need help with numbers, I'm not your man"
"I'm looking for help. If you can't do maths, you're not my man!"

In Black American English, you might hear:
"Hey bro, you my man!" (I'm not fluent in AAVE, so I won't elaborate further)

I think I have heard such a sentence, but in different context. It was in a movie, I believe, when a commander sais about his men (meaning his soldiers) no matter the sex.
