    " The following are in respect of the director's fees declared and received by you in each succeeding year. "

    What do u understand from the sentence ? fees declared in a particular year and received in following year or

    fee declared and rec'd in the same year ?

    The following are in respect of the director's fees declared and received by you in each succeeding year.
    For the sentence to be meaningful, the base year should have been stated for the succeeding years (the years that follow) to be based on eg. if the base year is 2007, the succeeding year is 2008.
