    'abandon'

    please tell me about 'abandon' i n details.i think it has 5 or 6 meaning.please tell me in an easy way.and tell me which one is right? abandoned playing game or abandoned to play game.thank you!

    Firstly - have you looked the word up in a dictionary?

    Secondly - you abandon a game, or abandon playing a game.

    <my respected and sweet teachers> Well.I'll look up in the dictionary and ask for help if i can't understand. He abandoned playing cricket when the rain started correct? He abandoned to play cricket when the rain started incorrect?
