    letter of advice...

If you find any problems, or if there is any typical expression in writing an advice letter, please let me have your comments.

    1. I am sorry to hear that your father lost his valuable silver pot.

2.Referring to what you have mentioned in your letter, I suspect your fiancee may have stolen it because the phone mubers and names perfectly match with the ones published in the advertisements.

    3. I advise that you should meet him right away and ask him if he really stole it .

    4. If he confesses, you should forgive him. If not, you'd better report him to the police.

    5. I hope my advice helped you to find a way to solve this problem.

(The red is casual, conversational speech. Is this a letter to a friend? If so, then it's fine.)

    5. I hope this advice helps you to solve this problem.

Editorial comment: If he confesses, perhaps you might advice her to forgive and forget - forgive him perhaps, but to forget him! Don't marry a thief! This is what engagements are for: to get to know the real character of your intended.
He stole from his prospective father-in- law, the father of his so-called true love and soul-mate. The alarm bells should be deafening.
